Each week for ten weeks, we will meet for 50 minutes for Meditation Instruction via Zoom.

Curated guided meditations and journal prompts are provided for support between sessions.





Hi, I'm Kim



I am a long time practitioner of meditation and a certified Meditation Instructor teaching Mindfulness based practices. My meditation journey begin in 1986 in the Zen tradition of concentration meditation. Since then, I have studied Mindfulness meditation, Insight meditation (shamatha- vipashyana), open-monitoring meditation, and loving kindness/ self-compassion meditation (Metta). I have mentored hundreds of students, and in my meditation instruction, I combine both depth of practice with practical tools for growth.

What really qualifies me to teach meditation is that I have learned, first hand, the real life benefits that meditation can bring, as I have struggled at times to push through the muddy margins of life toward growth and peace. And perhaps most importantly, I know the value of keeping a beginner's mind.
